What we fix

Three fronts, one engagement
01

Operations

Broken or missing processes, unclear ownership, systems that don't scale.

02

Strategy

A plan that exists on a slide or in your head but not in the day-to-day of the business.

03

Leadership

Decision-making, communication, and delegation patterns that keep the old systems in place.

Operational fixes fail without leadership change.

Every engagement, at every price point, includes a 1-on-1 leadership coaching strand alongside the operational work. It is included, not an upsell, and it is the reason the fix lives in the business and in how you lead rather than in a report.

Work with an operator who can move.

Verity works with a small number of growth-stage healthcare and health-tech founders who have the budget, the mandate, and the urgency to fix operations now. Capacity is deliberately limited, so the first conversation is as much about fit as it is about scope.

Who we serve

Healthcare companies with the budget, the mandate, and the urgency.

We work with growth-stage healthcare and health-technology companies that have the budget, the mandate, and the urgency to fix operations, not just talk about it.

Primary fit

Growth-stage HealthTech and healthcare-enabled companies

Past product-market fit, scaling headcount or service lines faster than internal systems can support, with no dedicated COO or Head of Operations, or that seat vacant, overloaded, or newly created. The founder or CEO personally owns the operations and HR gaps.

REVENUE
$5M to $30M revenue or ARR
HEADCOUNT
20 to 150 employees
INDUSTRY
Healthcare technology, digital health, and health-tech-enabled services
FUNDING
Founder-led with early institutional backing, independent-sponsor-backed, or profitable and bootstrapped with clear budget authority
GEOGRAPHY
Atlanta and the Southeast in person; national remote

When founders usually call

  1. 01

You just closed a Series A or B and the board is asking for operational maturity the team doesn't have yet.

  2. 02

The founder or CEO is personally doing strategy, operations, and HR, and is now the bottleneck.

  3. 03

Headcount is doubling in 12 to 18 months and has outpaced onboarding, performance, and process.

  4. 04

You are preparing for a sale, raise, or audit and need real systems to show, not tribal knowledge.

  5. 05

Operations, people, or both are being run reactively: firefighting instead of building.

  6. 06

A recent acquisition closed, or a pre-exit operational cleanup mandate has landed.

Secondary track

PE-backed and multi-site platforms

$10M to $50M ARR, or $15M to $100M revenue · 30 to 150 employees

For operating partners and portfolio-company CEOs, we take bounded, fixed-fee sprint work only: post-acquisition standardization and scale-readiness, never an open-ended retainer.

Straight answer on fit

If you're pre-revenue, outside healthcare and health tech, or not yet ready to invest in fixing this, we're probably not the right fit yet, and we'll tell you that on the first call.

Services

Three offers, one coaching strand through all of them.

Every engagement starts with a diagnostic and includes 1-on-1 leadership coaching at no extra charge. Pricing is quoted after the discovery call, based on scope, and set in a written statement of work.

01

Operational Truth Diagnostic

3 weeks · Fixed fee, scoped after the discovery call

A fixed-fee, fixed-timeline look at what is actually happening in your operations, your people systems, and your own leadership patterns, before you commit to anything ongoing.

You keep the roadmap whether or not you hire Verity to implement it. If you do move forward within 14 days, half the diagnostic fee is credited toward your first two retainer months.

What it includes
  • 5 to 8 stakeholder interviews
  • A 1-on-1 CEO leadership blind-spot session
  • The 10-domain operations and people systems audit
  • Gap analysis and a prioritized 90-day roadmap
  • A live executive readout

Not included. SOP drafting, software configuration, and employee management. Implementation identified during the diagnostic is scoped and priced separately.

02

Founder Operating Partner Retainer

Monthly · 3-month minimum · Scoped to your roadmap

Sustained senior guidance while you execute the 90-day roadmap, for diagnostic clients and direct referrals who are ready to run the plan.

Capacity is capped at two concurrent retainer clients so the cadence stays real. Scope is defined contractually as strategic advisory and executive coaching.

What it includes
  • Two 90-minute strategic and coaching calls a month
  • Async document and SOP-approval review
  • Light emergency phone or Slack access
  • A standing 1-on-1 through implementation

Not included. Direct employee management, software administration, and running internal standups.

03

Post-Acquisition and Scale-Readiness Integration Sprint

6 to 8 weeks · Fixed fee, billed by milestone

For PE operating partners and portfolio-company CEOs: founder-led process and organizational-design mapping, with a vetted subcontractor executing detailed documentation under direction.

Contractor costs are billed as a direct pass-through. If you want continued support after the sprint, it converts to the retainer.

Deliverables
  • Standardized operating framework
  • Role scorecards and accountability structure
  • People Operations Architecture: org design and decision rights
  • Integration progress report

Not included. Open-ended ongoing execution.

+

Advisory hours

One-off strategic sessions are available by the hour for clients who need a single decision worked through rather than an engagement.

Not sure which one you need?

That is usually the diagnostic's first finding.

Approach

Diagnose. Prioritize. Build. Embed.

I run operations for a living. This isn't theory I'm testing on your business.

Verity stays through implementation rather than handing off a report, and the leadership work runs alongside the operational work the whole way.

STEP 01

Diagnose

Interviews, the systems audit, and the leadership blind-spot session surface what's actually happening, not what's assumed to be happening.

STEP 02

Prioritize

Gap analysis and an impact-and-effort matrix turn findings into a sequenced, realistic plan instead of an overwhelming list.

STEP 03

Build

Systems, SOPs, and process documentation get built and installed, not just recommended.

STEP 04

Embed

Verity stays through the retainer and coaches the leader through the change, so the fix lives in the business and in how you lead, not just in a report.

Inside the Operational Truth Diagnostic

Three weeks, run in the same order every time.

  1. 01

    Stakeholder interviews

Five to eight people: the CEO, one or two other executives, two or three managers, and one or two frontline employees. The goal is the gap between what leadership believes is happening and what is happening on the ground.

  2. 02

    CEO blind-spot session

A dedicated 1-on-1 on how your decision-making, delegation, and communication patterns show up in the operational gaps. This is what the coaching strand builds on.

  3. 03

    Systems audit

Ten domains scored 1 to 5 against a behaviorally anchored rubric, with red flags and an evidence checklist for each.

  4. 04

    Gap analysis

Findings become a ranked list of addressable gaps, each with a root cause, business impact, and effort estimate. High-impact, low-effort gaps go first.

  5. 05

    90-day roadmap

Named owners and measurable outcomes across three phases: quick wins and foundations, build and systematize, embed and measure.

  6. 06

    Executive readout

A decision-ready summary delivered live: composite maturity score, the three to five most consequential gaps, the coaching focus, and a single recommended next step.

The ten domains we score

Each domain is scored 1 to 5 against a behaviorally anchored rubric, from ad hoc and undocumented to documented, systematized, and consistently followed. The scores roll up into a composite maturity band you can track over time.

About

Systems don't fail in a vacuum. They fail because of how leaders think, decide, and show up.

I'm the COO of ASAP Results, a healthcare-tech company that bridges providers, phlebotomists, and labs. That work has taught me that systems don't fail in a vacuum, they fail because of how leaders think, decide, and show up.

I started Verity Advisory because I noticed the same pattern in every growth-stage healthcare company I talked to: people build operational infrastructure, but if they don't see their own blind spots, how they delegate, how they communicate through change, where they're the constraint, the new system fails the same way the old one did.

That's why every Verity engagement includes coaching alongside the operational work, so the fix sticks and you grow as a leader in the process. I work with growth-stage healthcare and health-technology companies that are ready to act. I'm based in Atlanta and committed to building people and systems simultaneously.

Myah Austin, Founder and Chief Operations Advisor of Verity Advisory

Proof over theory

I run a live, regulated healthcare operation daily. The work is not a framework I am testing on you.

The system and the leader

Coaching is in every engagement, at every price point, at no extra charge.

Plain language

Frameworks stay on my side of the work. You get sentences.
